Heather Oxsen

The magazine layout above, as well as the Frans Lanting spread below, was designed to express any two artists of our choosing. I decided to highlight two different, but equally talented photographers in my layout. I explored scale, fun typography, and bright color choices. ​​Both magazine layouts show my range of skill set and style while still remaining organized and easily legible. 

For the second project, our design studio class partnered with the studio photography class to collaborate on a magazine spread. We planned the topic and spreads of our magazines with stock photos, and once we received the photos from our partner photo student, we finalized our designs with the new, included photos. Pictured below is the final magazine cover page, table of contents, intro spread, inside spread, credit page, and back cover.​
